Meet The

Manager

Samantha Margarum

My name is Samantha Margarum and I’m the new Lowell Property Manager. I come from the North, so please forgive me if I say you guys and not y’all while I adjust to the South! I was born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. I went to school for Accounting at UW Manitowoc. After school, I relocated to West Lafayette, Indiana and worked in Off-Campus College Student Living for 6 years, managing a complex 1.5 miles from Purdue University. I was nominated Leasing Manager Of The Year in 2018 and Assistant General Manager Of The Year in 2020 at Campus Advantage. After the Pandemic chaos we have all been experiencing, I realized family is all you really got. With that being said my family and I decided to relocate to Georgia to be closer to many of my relatives in September 2021. After searching for a career, I found The Lowell and had my heart set on this property and the opportunity to be the new Property Manager! I am ecstatic to be here and feel that altogether, the new management team will continue to improve The Lowell experience and lifestyle! Life is short, always choose happiness!

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your policy on breaking a lease?

The Lowell’s lease is binding and cannot be broken. If you cannot live at The Lowell after signing your lease, you will need to re-let. Please call the leasing office for information on re-letting.

What furniture is provided?

The Lowell comes fully equipped with a full size bed, dresser, night stand, desk, and desk chair for the bedroom and a sofa, arm chair, coffee table, end table, dining table and dining chairs (dining bar and dining chairs depending upon floorplan) for the common area as well as a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove/oven and washer & dryer.

Do you offer roommate matching? I don't have a roommate, what should I do?

Yes, we offer a roommate matching system. If you don’t have anyone in mind that you would like to live with, let us match you up with someone! There is a Roommate Matching Sheet that you will fill out to let us know more about what you’re looking for in a roommate. Then, we spend weeks in the summer figuring out the best match for you based on that information.

What is a guarantor?

A guarantor is like a cosigner. They will be legally bound to the lease.

What personal belongings should I bring to move in?

We suggest that you bring:

  • Bedding for a Full-Size bed
  • Toiletries
  • Dishes/Cookware
  • Decorations to make your new room feel like home!

What will I need to pick up my keys?

  • Pay application fee $150 ($200 with guarantor)
  • Pay deposit $150+ (depending upon application screening results)
  • Pay first month's rental installment on August 1st
  • Renter's Insurance ($300,000 personal liability through any provider)
